About Us
Nspired Pursuits is a small business focused on providing applications for the iPhone and iPad in support of games and gaming. So, although these applications are not games per se, they are included in the Games category in the Apple App Store (iTunes.)
Our current series of apps are based on Volumes 1 and 2 of the book series - "Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand At a Time," written by Eric "Rizen" Lynch, Jon “Apestyles” Van Fleet, and Jon "PearlJammer" Turner. The books are published by Matthew Hilger’s DIMAT Enterprises.

The Win Tourn apps are designed for the iPad (v.3.2) and are based on Volume 1.
Poker Coach Pro apps are designed for iPad (v.4+) and are available through an app with inApp purchase. Three (3) hands are free and sets of hands from both volumes are available for purchase through an inApp store (that works with iTunes / AppStore.)
HoldEm Pro app is designed for the iPhone 4 and retina display, and is a free app which presents 50 hands and commentary from Jon “PearlJammer” Turner (from Volume 1.) This app is free and is supported by the iAd advertising network.
Each app is an adaptation of the content and material in the book as published by DIMAT Enterprises. The flow and sequence of narrative in conjunction with the action may vary slightly from how the book reads.
Most hands are illustrated to their conclusion and a winner is declared. However, there are a number of hands (as you can imagine) where the author's decision-making led to a fold; many of these hands are not illustrated to their conclusion.
Generally, the narrative text has been preserved and is presented with only minor edits. The intent is to provide the author's comments in synchronization with the action as it unfolds, much as if you were with the author as he played the hand.
